Who We Are

Molly Bird is the founder and President of m2 Real Estate Group, Inc.  Prior to forming m2, Molly spent four years working at United Properties.  As a Retail Sales Associate in the Brokerage division, Molly assisted with tenant representation, site selection and property listing services to clients.

Molly has assisted in tenant representation services for CVS/Pharmacy, Office Depot, Lowe’s Home Improvement, TJ Maxx Companies, Border Foods, Au Bon Pain, Best Buy, Buffalo Wild Wings and M&I Bank.  In addition, Molly also represented several development companies and owners.

Before joining the Retail Brokerage group, Molly worked in United Properties Research & Information Services group, where she gained a thorough understanding of the Twin Cities retail real estate market.

Molly has her Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from Arizona State University.  She also holds a certificate of Geographic Information Science Technologies from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.

In her spare time Molly enjoys spending time with friends and family, music, reading, exercising, and traveling.

Matt Bird is the Vice President and Sales Associate of m2 Real Estate Group, Inc.  Matt is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Urban Studies and a minor in Multi-Family housing.  Matt has experience in both residential and commercial real estate.

Prior to forming m2, Matt worked at Prodigy Residential Real Estate in Maplewood, MN; and completed an internship with United Properties in their Industrial Brokerage division.  He has also interned with a medical sales company where he shadowed an experienced sales person.

Denise Garner is a Sales Associate for m2 Real Estate Group, Inc.  Prior to joining m2, Denise worked at 3M for 11 years designing and implementing information systems for manufacturing plants as well as business metrics for 3M Executives.   Later in her career, she provided information systems and marketing for the Automotive Systems division of 3M. 

In 2005 Denise began a career in real estate.  Denise represents various tenants, owners, and investors of commercial property.  Some of her clients include Precision Tune, Everest on Grand, and The Nook. 

Denise earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Colorado.  She is also APICS certified by the American Production and Inventory Control Society and is a member of the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR).
